Faith like a ChildI was just praying with my brother. He requested that my whole family pray before we sleep. I now realise something. I understand why Jesus told his disciples to be like little children in their faith. As I listened to Walter pray, he repeated thanked God for creating the things around him. He thanked God for food to eat. And he also said that he would "make a mountain to show how much I love You." He gave/dedicated everything unto God! He mentioned no requests at all because he knows that everything needed will be provided for.
So this is the childlike faith - to pray, to thank God, to express our love for Jesus and to dedicate our lives unto Him. God also wants us to trust Him for He will provide everything for us in His own special way. He has promised that.
"So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they neither toil or spin; yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?" - Matthew 6:28-30
We must have faith in Him!
